Meeting
Monday 26th February 2018 at
the Senior Citizens' Hall at 7:00pm.
For information on the 2018 EPCCA
Photographic Competition and Exhibition see the
'Updates'
page.
We meet on the fourth Monday of every month at
the Senior Citizens Hall next to the
Flinders Theatre on Hallett Place at 6:45
for a 7:00pm start.
We chat with fellow members, hear interesting
guest speakers and have hands-on sessions
throughout the year.
Financial members may submit up to a maximum of
4 photographs in total each month, consisting of
2 in the “Open “ section and 2 in the ”Set"
section. On selected
months there are also "Special Subjects" where
eligible members may enter 1 image.
Photographs are judged at the meeting by members
(the popular vote)
and also sent away to be judged by professional
judges.
At each
meeting we submit our photos for that month's
subjects, have a chat to other members, attend to
any business arising since the previous meeting then
watch a powerpoint display of the professional
judge's results and comments for the previous
month's entries. Club members then vote on all
photographs submitted on that night, prior to
sending them to be judged. Then we relax with tea
and coffee and another chat.
Those
photos that are awarded first, second, third
or receive a merit commendation by the professional
judge and are displayed on the
Results page of
this website along with the popular vote results (by
our Club members) sometimes making for interesting
comparisons.
Trophies
are awarded at the end of the year.
Our club
is advertised on the South Australian Photographic
Federation website (SAPF) which can be loaded from
the Links
page. Click on SA clubs.
If you
are interested in photography then come along. It's a
great place to challenge yourself with our monthly
competitions, meet people with similar interests and
learn new digital photography tips.
We
hope to see you there..
