Competition Requirements

A full copy of the Rules can be found at the Club Rules Link on this site.  These are some “plain English guidelines”

Entries for the “Open Subject” category can include any subject (but not including elements of the “Set Subject”) which reflects the personal interpretation of the author including creative and experimental techniques, provided that there is in all cases a photographic base.

Entries eligible for the relevant “Set Subject” competition include any entry meeting the definition described and published beforehand by the Committee.

Only financial members are eligible to enter competitions.

All images entered must be wholly the work of the member including any textures added.  Its okay to use other peoples work for inspiration but be sure to add your own ideas to is.  Any work that is a direct copy is likely to be disqualified.

Winning images from each category will be automatically entered into the Image of the Year Competition from the digital entry originally provided.  At the end of the year nominated judge(s) will judge the Image of the Year and select one winner.
